Reeeived Thursdav, 8.50 p.m. LONDON, June 10. . Reuter's Parliamentary correspondenx states that the Labour Party adopted a resolution agreeing to a compromise on the abolition of the death penalty. A clause is being draft ed, it is understood, to allow hanging for, firstly, the murder of a jpoliceman or prison officer; seeondly, for the murder of a civilian assisting the police in an arrest; thirdly, for murder by poisoiiing, partieularlv if the crime is carefully planned and long premeditated.
