A committee had been set up to go into the question of water races in the vicinity of the borough and he suggested that the request should be forwarded on to that committee,' said the' chairman of the Horowhenua County Council, Mr. A. M. Colquhoun, at yesterday's meeting of the council when a let*ter was received from Mrs. E. Fry, Bartholomew Road, Levin, for the removal of a water race in the vicinity of her property. The reqUest was passed on to the committee acoordiivgly.
