Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Jun'e 9. , The pages of English history wero rustled when Queen Eli^abeth visited Queen 's College, Cambridge, on tlie occasion of its quincentenary celebrations. The eollege wasv, founded by Queen Margaret of Anjou, the Red Rose Queen. It was visited by the Tudor and Stuart Queens but Tio Queen had been there since Queen Anne in 1705. Queen Elizabeth spent six hours at the College and when slie arrived and entered the first quadrangle, the CoJlege flag beah'ing the arms of Queen ivrargarot, was hauled down and replaced by her Majesty 's Standard. FelTows and Honorary Fellows were presented by the President, Dr. J. A. Vcnn, and at luneh in the Great Hall, the traditional boar's head was servcd. Durmg the afternoon there was a garden party and the Quen also saw a rehearsal of the open air production "-'As You Like It." Her Majesty also visited the exhibb tion of College treasures in the Oio Chapel. There slie savv the seventeenth eentury medical eabinet of Vigani, firsi Professor of Chemistry at the Univer sitv. This ineludes contemporary re medies such as "dragon's blood," myrrh, quinine, viper, scorpion, anrl claws of crabs. "I liave always wanteo to see dragon's blood and, now I have had my wish, " commented the Queen.
