Electricity used last ^veek in both the North and South Islands, was below the allocations llxed ?)y the State Ilydro-Electfic Department. Gonsumption in the North Island amounted to 82,261,000 units which was 505,000 units or 1.55 per ceht below the allocation of 32,706,000 nnits. ■ In the South Tsland 13,267,000 units were used whereas the allocation was 13,617,000 units. This was therofore a snving of 347,000 units or £'.54 per cent. on the allocation.
