Rahui Footballers' Games On Saturday
| Old Boys B suffered an over- j whelming defeat at the hands of i Rahui thirds at Levin on Saturday when the local team won the match by 39 points to 0. An unusual feature of the game was a try scored in "the first minute of play by the Rahui full-back, W. Cook. In addition every Rahui back scored at least one try during the game, these players being W. j Davi?, W. Cook, A. Cook, A.' Winterburn, J. Ahern, T. Hohipuha, W. Waaka and W. Royal. [ At the Otaki Domain, Rugby fans jwitnessed some hard, if not specjtacular games. The curtain raiser was played between Rahui fourths and Shannon fourths, the latter team winning by 12 points to 3. The referee was Mr. L. Barrett. The match between Waikanae and Rahui juniors proved a very even one, both team's playing hard football. The local team thoroUghly deserved its success, defeating Waikanae by 9 points to 3. For Rahui, S. Swayle and G. Walker scored good forward tries and N. Mudgway kicked a penalty. Waikanae gained i their points with a npnalty goal. The referee was Mr. M. Johnson.
