WELLINGTON, June 8. An increase in the price of raw linseed oil amounting to Is ld per gallon has been granted by the Price* Tribunal to Dominion Industries, Limited. The increase is from 15s a gallon to 16s ld a gallon f.o.b. the main ports. The eompany, which applied for ah increase -of 2s 4d a gallon, said it was to recover higher processing costs" and the eost of seed amounting to ls ld a gallon, and to enable the eompany to obtain a profit of seven per cent The Price Tribunal, in its deeision, stated that it was not prepared to approve an increase in price in respect of the company's claim for an additional orofit return, but that part of the application might be reviewed after the issue of the. company's half-yearly balarlce sheet as at September 30, 1948.
