MASTERTON, June 7. Tn Ihe final of Ihe Wairarapa open golf clianipionship decided here today J. P. Hornabrook (Paraparaumu) beat the titleholder, TI. S. Budd (Masterton). 2 and 1. Hornabrook played excellent golf, staging a comebaek to his forin when he was New Zealand amateur and open champion. I In the semi-finals .played earlier today, Hornabrook beat J. B. (Vawford (Manor Park) 4 and 2, and Budd beat W. G. Home (Wellington) 2 and 1.
