"Ah, sir," she replied, "the next line — it was that that brought me rest and peace — that 'whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.' " "Then you believe that, Mary?" "Yes, sir; I rest in that because God says it; and I am happy because there I see that Christ loved me, and died for me, and I have everlasting life."
BIBLE TRUTH : Concerning Bible Prophecies ■ and Jesus Christ How could Jesus Christ exist as a person from all eternity when God prophesied "I will put enmity between . . . thy (serpent's) seed and the woman (Eve) . . . it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel" (Gen. 2:15)? This "seed of the woman" is Jesus (Gal. 4:4, Luke 3 ,: 23-38), a descendent of Eve, born long after her; His birth is prophesied, as future. Why do many believe that Jesus lived as a person • before Creation when God promised and prophesied to Abraham about 2100 years after Creation, "in Isaac shall thy seed be called" (Gen, 21 : 12), and "I will establish my covenant with Isaac for an everlasting eovejnant, ! an'd with his seed after him" (Gen. ; 17 : 19)? As Jesus is the "seed" of Abraham (Matt. 1 : 1, Gal. 3 : 16), born long afterwards, how could he be alive before? Free literature in relation to Bible Truth sent to any address on application to H.
