Holiday Golf Tournament
•A meeting df the committee of the Buckley Gdlf Club was held on Tuesday evening, when arrangements were" completed for the tournamenti which is to oe conducted next Saturday, Suhday and Monday; This is the annual King's i Birthday fixture, which proves so popular among the golflng enthusiasts of the district. It -was repprted that the links wiil be in good condition although heavy from the recent rain. Visitors are expected from all parts of the district. Ten new members were accepted at the meeting. They were as follows: — Messrs. L. Beck, R. Lester, S. L. Graham, G. Clough, M. Higgie and R. Vinsen, Junr., Mesdames Tricker, P. K. Robinson and W. Clough, and Miss Jean Brown.. ,j '
