PUBLIC NOTICES NOTICE OF LOCAL BILL PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Seetion 361 of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives, that the' under-mentioned Loc'al Authority i prtpo&es to introduce in the 1948 session of Parliament a. Local Bill . under the _ title of Levin Borough} .Empowcrin'g (Playford Park) Bill. j The .following is the summary of! the objects wiiich the .saia Bill is mtended to effect: 1. To terminate the existingj trusts created by the Will ofi the late Henry Playford in respect of a certain area of land I containing 20 acres and 14 1 porches be.ing Village Home-! stead Settlement, AUotment 68, i. Levin Village Settlement, beingi shown on the plan hereinafter! • referred to; to reserve the said! land for recreation purposes! and to set the same apartj under Part II of -"The Public! Reserves, Domains and Nation-; al Parks Act, 1928," as Playford! Payk Domain and to constiiutej the Levin Borough Council the Domain Board in * respect thereof. 2. To prescribe a minimum area within Playford Park Domain as a motorists' campingground. - 3. To vest the residuary estate of JHenry Playford, deceased, ia the Corporation of the Borough of Levin free from trusts and to release the Public Trustee from duties as trustee of the said estate. 4. To empower the Levin Borough Council to subdivide, road and - -sell as it may think fit certain lands being part of Lot 2 and Lot 4 of Section 48, Levin Vil- , lage Settlement, and Section A of Section 67, Levin Village Settlement, the said land being shown on the plan hereinafter referred to, to make provision for the expenses thereof and the application of moneys received therefrom and to provide for the disposal of other property forming part of the abovementioned residuary estate. 5. To confer certain borrowing powers upon the Levin Borough Council. 6. To provide that the Will of Henry Playford, deceased, shall cease to have any force or effect. Copies of the said Bill and the plan. showing thereon outlined in green the lands affe.cted by the said Bill have been deposited at the under-mentioned Offlces and there open to public inspection during office "hours without payment of fee for a period of three complete weeks from the first publication of this notice.
