Social Democrats Lead In Bavarian Elections
Received Tuesday, 10.10 a.m. MUNICH, May 31. The Social Democrats won a 'big Lead in the municipal elections in imerican-occupied Bavaria yeseraay, gaining just over 30 per ;ent of the total votes. The Chris:).an Socialists, who hold an abso.ite majority in the present State Parliament, obtained 18.5 and the iavarian Separatists 15.5 per eent. fhe Communlsts secured only 10.1 >er eent. These results for, the tralitionally conservative Bavaria re/'ersed the position in the April rural elections. -
