Communists Take Credit For Third Party In U.S.
Received Monday, 9.35 a.m. NEW YORK, May 30. The national committee of the Jommunist Party of the United States today took credit for startng the third party which is being ?d by Mr. Henry Wallace, a former Vice-President. The committee released to party rnembers a draft resolution detailing the recent achievements of the party. The resolution states that .he Communist Party realised the need of a new party "directed. against the two-party system of ,he monopolists". and, acting upon .iiis understandihg,' "it boldly proJaimed tlie need of such a hew ^ejple's Party." V/ithout naming Mr. Wallace, the resolution warns Americari Coinnunists to work to transform the .hird party into a counterpart of Jie Communist Party.
