TONIGHT ONLY "Sunbonnet Sue" is a thoroughly enjoyable picture, filled with tune- ; ful songs and bright music. - Produced on a lavish scale, the film pictures an interesting period of American life. Ga'ie • Storm and Phil Regan are starred, and both are exceilent in their .roles as young lovers beset by difficulties. In addition, each sings pleasingly the . popuiar songs of the perioci. i "Abilene Town, the second j attractlon, starring Randolph Scott and Ann Dvorak, is a lusty, ! gun-scorched epic of the exciting frontier days. When the law moved in on Abilene, it was hard to say which grew f aster — the city or the cemetery! In "Abilene Town" j the scene is set against the colourful background of Kansas as it was - just after the Civil War.
