. .INVERCARGILL, May 17. A spectacular fire at Thornbury on Satu-r(ly.v nightj.destroyed^ the garage of Mhssrs.;A. hil(l Ej Wgdswicfi'tji,; Ltdi,, the stock, macuinpry and three trucks. Two t rocks outside were savod. Neighboufs onsuccessfully attempted to save the conteuts of the garage. Mr. (1. Donoon suffered sevcre 'burns on the arnts when the petrol tank of a truck exploded. The garage and trucks wero insured.
