Levin Junior W.I.
The April meeting of the Jiihior Circle of the Levin Women's Institute was held in the Plunket rooms and was Very Well attended. The president, Miss Clapeott, welcomed all preseht and apologies were received from MiSSes J. Long and L. Bildabeek. An invitation was received from the Otaki Women's Institute to their 17th birthday party on May 5. The Drama Festivai Was discussed and it wasdecided to entef one play for the festival. A cifcular from the Horticultural Society was read and it was agreed that as many as could do So, enter articles for the show. Mrs. Lyneh gave a very irrteresting demonstration on papier maehe, which is to be the competition for the May meeting. The winners .of the cohipgtitions are as follows: — Best bloom: Misses B. Blenkhorn 1, M. Clapeott 2, D. Davies 3. Article made from wool: Mi'sses D. Davies 1, B. Blenkhorn 2, D. Johnston 3. The ' competitiOns Were kindly judged by Mrs. Lynch. After a delightful supper the meeting came to a close at 10 o'elock. The May meeting wiU b© held on Tuesday neitt in the Plunket rooms,
