Grant, the well-known breeder, 'at Mangatoro. The total proceeds amounted to 9491; guineas, and thfe average price 'was I21fgns. The highest priee was 505gns. for a two-and-a-half-year-old heifer in calf to the latest ixnported " bull, Exnperor - 'Elect of Douneside. Another heifer, the same age, realised 500gns. A three-and-a-half-year-old heifer made 400gns. Animals carrying the blood of the famous Mulbeen Embassy bull were popular with buyers and made the highest prices. The animals bought will be disperaed throughout the Dominion and nine head ?f grown cattle and* t'hree calves are destined for Australia.
