After a lifetime of service in the dairy industry, Mr. C. H. Barbef, of Carterton, is retiring. He has beeri secretary of Dalefield, Parkvale, Belvedere and Carrington Dairy Companies for the last 25 ye'ars, •while for some years he was secretary of the Wairarapa Associated Dairy Companies and the Wairarapa Boneless Veal Committee. — P.A.
