Paris afternoon papers announced the exchange of notes in creaming headlines. The Com"nunist journal, Cesoir, and' the pro-government France Soir were mthusiastic. The latter, in one of i:he biggest banner headlines in its oistory, saidi "Most Sensational Event Since War's End." A Stockholm message says that the Swedish Press welcomed news of the talks but were sceptical of the outeome. ~ ~
