"Shirts Must Wait" "I think shirts will have to wait," cQinmented Mr. Justice Cornish in the Supreme Court, Wanganui, on Monaay, when a member of the common jury sought exemption from-' service on the grounds that he was manager of a firm with a 1« staff engaged in the manufaeture of shirts. Of the 56 members pf the common jury summoned tp'.attend the opening of the sessions, six applied for exemption. Of these, four were granted and two applications were refused. Those exempted were a butchfer engaged in handling stock for export, a cabinetmaker, a plumber working on his own and a dairy farmer, who' said he had to get up at 3.45 each morning.
