AIMS OF CONGRESS
LONDON, May 7. Wide interest is being taken in the Congress of Europe at The Hague, which has set two main tasks — diseussion of the formation of a new organisation to replaee the manv different organisations which at present are eampaigning for European unitv, and an attempt to work out exactly what sort of European oi* Western European unitv this new body would try to bring into being. Following Mr. Churchill Js speech today, three committees will be forined —economic, political, and culturai — t'o discuss draft reports.
