DUNEDIN, May 3. Onee again the party eould look baeic on a year of steady progress, statea the annual report of the national 6X6CUtive of the Labour Party, presfented ait i the annual confei'enee which openea this morning. The organisation of the movement was sound. (luided by past experience nothing was being left undone in preparation for the next eiefition. Never before had it been so essential that harmony should be tne keynote of all secttions of the mo'vbment. The party was^strong iii the past and was stronger' than ever today. "Labour has governed wisely and well," said the report. "It has giyen to the people of New Zealand the highbst standard of living in the world and its soeial legislation is tnd envy of the world." The exeeutive reaffirmed its pledge of loyalty to the Prime Minister and assured him of the eontinuai support to the Labour movement.
