Table Tennis Club's Activities Reviewed
A meeting was'' held this week to revive the WetUrda Table Tennis Club which has beeh ih fecess for some years. There was a representative gatherihg aiid the iridieations were that the club would have a very sucdessful seaSdn. The election of officers resulted as follows : ^-Patron : Rev. G. B. Stote-BlUndy ;■ preSident: Mr. D. Johnson; vice-pr.esidents : Mrs. H. G. Mackdy; MeSsrs. P. Dey, B. Lacey, and Les.. Taimer/ secretary: Miss N. Jdli; Club CUptaih: Mr. J.' Rankin; . vice-captairi : Mr. E. Lydns; cofnihittee: Miss U. MckUy, MSSsf'S. H. Lyons, D. White, -N* Simmons and B. Odfkeek. The subscr iptions for the Seasofi were fixed at 5s for ladies/ 7s 6d fof men aiid 3s for juniOrs. It was iecided that the club would meet an Monday nights at the Weraroa Hall at 7.30 p.m., the first of such rneetihgs to take place. on Mohday aext, May 3. All 'intending memoers are ihVited ta attend.
