t WELLINGTON, April 30. With the acivent of winter racing, horses accustomed to soft and heavy going are replacing the firm track gallopers on club programmes, and with the prospects of soft going at4 Hawera tomorrow winter horses should be prominent in almost ali the finishes. Several prominent vSteeplechasers and hurdlers have been racing on the flat during the -past.few weeks and. as a result, are well forward to take their nlaces' over the jumps this week. Meetings scheduled for tomorrQW are Egmont, Franklin, Ashburton andf the eoncluding day of the Forbury Park Trotting Club's centennial meeting.
