A married woman. •'.ged 24, from the Wairoa borough, was admitted early last week and latei diagnosed as positive, a'nd a voung married woman from the Putere distric' is also a positive case. The suspeet is the husband of tlfe woman. from Putere. ()ne patient has been placed in an iron luug. The Health Department has taken thc usual precautions, but all seliools iu thc district are remaining open meantime. -A seven-year-old who was admitted to Hawera Hospital from Normanby, wa, diagnosed today as a positive case of poliomyelitis. He. is the 51st case in the Taranaki health district since November. V
