(From "Chronicle" Correspondent) At the annual meeting of the! Ohau branch of Federated Farmers, Mr. S. C. Saint was re-elected ! president, Messrs. J. Burnell and B. ! Richardson vice-presidents and Mr. H. G. Nicholas secretary. At' the conclusion of the business members were the supper £uests of the Wo men's Division, which also held a meeting the same evening. The weekly card evening in the Ohau Hall was again a popular attraction and by these functions the sehool funds are being augmented. The ladies'^prize was won by Mrs. Heperi. In the men's section a play off was necessary between . Messrs. J. ' Kuiti, W." Mudge, S. Bowling and E. Hudson, Mr. Mudge eventually proving the winner. Tne prizes on this occasion were dondted by Mr. F. Haley.
