Heavy Downpour
The rain which commenced early on Sunday morning coaatinued intermittently until last evening. It then.developed into a heavy downpour. and did not cease until 11 a.m. today. The total fall over' the period, aecording to the records of Mr. Howard Harvey, Qf Cambridge Street, was 3.82 inches. Provide d it is not. followed by a cold snap it will soon restiore parched pasluree and gardens.
