Rugby Football

The newly-»elected committee of the Qtaki-Rahui senior football team held its first meeting on Monday, Mr. A. Knox presiding. The two coaches, Messrs. G. Gray and L. Higgott, Were appointed comanagers, and in conjunction with the teahi captain will be the selectors. The meeting decide'd that the team play in green jerseys, white shorts and green socks with yellow tops. Subscriptions for the season were fixed at 5s plus -2s 6d union insurance. Mr. R. Jones adytsed that the cup donated by him for the most improved player in the Otaki senior team would now be compete'd for by players in the new Otaki-Rahui team. The Porirua Club was invited to send a senior team to play Otaki-' Rahui seniors at the Otaki Domain j on Saturday. Arrangements were made for the entertainment of the visitors. The committee would like any player who has any complaint to; report in writing to the secretary. All correspondence in connection with the Otaki-Rahui senior football team is to beaddressed to Mr. C. Lindsay, Mill Roa'd, Otaki. The coaches expressed their desire that all players would attend the practices, which would be held on the domain on Tuesday and I Thursday nights, commencing atj 7.30. . j The f ollowing players are aske'd to attend' at the Otaki Domain on Saturday next for a friendly match with the Porirua seniors : J.
