Used Cars and Trucks From France
CANBERRA, April 1^. The importation of .10,000 nsed cafs and trucks from France, has been approved by the Federal Government. A AFelbourne firm has been given a permit to afrange for the import wliich will cost about £1,000,000. Advice received by t-he Government. indicates that there will be more trucks than cars in the eonsignment and -the vehieles, Whieh were manufacturerl for war purposes, are being reconditioned for sale ifi Australia. The firm intends to import 10,000 vehieles if possible.
