U.S. Presents Plan To End Palestine Turmoil

NEW VORK, April ]3. ^ United States proposcd today that the Security ouncil order the ecssalion of all jiolit iettl activitics in Palestine. This means in ell'ect that the .Jews would he direrted to lialt plans to cstahlish the newly jiroclaitned .lewish Government find the Arah League would he ordered 1o discontinue report ed plans to create a Palestine Government. The three niain points of the plan are., firstlv, the ininiediate cessation of all arts of violence; secondly, the rreation of a Truce Commission to go to Palestine to report 011 coinplianee with the cease fire order; tliirdly, a standstil-1 on all political and military actions. The Palestine Commission today released a report to the General Assenihly which meets on April Ki, wherein it stronglv criticises Britain for alleged lack of cooperation and warned that miless urgent ineasures were. takou immediately, Palestine would he flirown into chaofi.
