Received Mondav, 7 p.m. JERUSALEM, April 12. A 'party of armed Jews fatally sbot a British soldier while he was sitting in h coffee house at Rehoboth. His two soldier companions escaped, The Jews^ seized the soldier,- ?' three sten guns' and made off. The Haganah radio claimed that one British officer and one Iraqi officer were killed wrhen Haganah forces completed the destruction of the Arai) village of Calnnia near Mount. Castel, five miles west of Jerusalem.
