Dress Trousers for Work
Some Dunedin citizens gazed with envy at the clothing of a work-bound man who boarded a city tram on a recent morning: ' While the shortage of dress elothes ljas been the cause of much seri--ous thought, with many requests for the loan of garments allimportant to a correct appearance at social functions and a booming trade for those who hire evening dress, here was a man wearing dress trousers to work. They were in goo'd condition, although appearing a. little incongruous topped by • a sports coat and. hat, but Yhe owner obviously placed no greatb value on them.
