The Miners' Pension Pund trustees' meeting today failed to bring an immediate settlement of the soft coal strike, but the trustees are meeting again tomorrow, 90 minutds before Mr. John L. Lewis, president of the United Mineworkers' Association, is due to appear in the Pederal Court to answer contempt charges for ignoring a court order to call off the stoppage, which has rendered idle 600,000 throughout the nation.
