"By The Sovereign Will Of The People!"
Received Friday, 7 p.m. .OTTAWA, April 9. The Soviet Embassy has advised the Cahadian Government that Lithuania is part of the TT.S.8.R. by "the sovereign vvill of the Lithuanian people." In a Note publi,shed today the Soviet replied to the Canadian External Affairs Department statement last week that the Canadian Government had not recognised the absorption of Lithuania 1 into the Soviet Union. The Department rebgked ihe Soviet Embassy for calling J on Lithuanians in Canada to register with the , Embassy. The Department said the Embassy should have made it clear that registration would be voluntary. '
