AlcConilis) tliat- with eertain exceptions all scliools may reopen dn Alonday, April 19. Tlie schools to remain closed after that date will be Horotiu, 0 koroi ne, Rotorua and Xgaruavvahia as well as tlie three Taranaki schools closed this week. Jn addition. kindergartens and dav nurseries in the Central Auckland and Houth Auckland areas should remain closed in the mean timo and also svviiniuing baths should 1 emain closed to children in the mean(ime. Aledical offieei-s of health in all districts are to retain their special povvera to elose an.v sehool and impose other restrictions as thev consider liecessary and to allowT the reopening and removal ■jf restrictions when in their opinion it is safe to do so. Correspondence edu•ation will be eontinued under .local ar■angements wliere schools remain dosed.
