Received. Tfiursday, 10.50 a.m. JERUSALEM, April 7. A Jewish plane dropped eleven 3otnbs in three bombing runs over Arab forees attacking the village of 3astel, which Haganah captured m April 3. Arab- r-einforeements aave tightene'd the ring around Dastel and recaptured the nearby 3uba quarries. Haganah says that their defendsrs stopped Arab attempts to storm Jastel . and killed many Arabs by .nortar and machine-gun fire. They -•dmitted that three Jews- were .dllecl and three woun'ded. The Jewish authorities have xsked the British Army to rescue 1-00 children from MiShm-' Arhaemek as the result of a broad;ast appeal from the villagej which .he' Arabs have> blasted with artilery and mprtars for four days, J"ewish sources said that from 500 ta 2000.
