WELLINGTON, April 6. Permission for an overall increase of 10 per cent. in the selling price of its glass produets, to be based on a* total production of 14,000 tons yearly, has been granted by the Price Tribunal to the New Zealand Glass Manufacturers/ „ Company Proprietary Ltd., of Auckland. The price increase is not to aifect the price of milk bottles^ or of preserviug jars. The company sought an overall increase of 20 per cent. It will now be requirod to submit for formal- approvaJ new proposals in 'terms of the Tribunal's decision. The Tribunal 's approval is to be subjeet to review when the financial accounts and departmontal acoounts coverihg the aetivitiea of the glass, cardboard and plastie departments of the iirm for the vear ended March. 31, 1948, are available.
