Received f'cesdav, 7 p.m. MELBOrRNE, April 6. The biggest oil search in the history of Australia, will soon be earried out,' aeeording to Dr. II. (r. Rag'garr. Direetor of the Commonweath Burea.n of Minerals. The aroa of Ihe search will be thousands of sipiare miles round Kimberley, West Australia, aiul the sur vev will probablv take five years to complete, The l'mreau is pooling its rc 1 sourees with thoso of leading mining and oil conipanios and a large team of men will take part iu the work. R.A.A.F. photographers already have taken aerial photographs of the terri tory and the ground surveys will begin in the next few weeks. *
