Aero Club's Oldest Pupil

The oldest pupil of the Canterbury Aero Club now under training is Mr. W. Kingsbury, of Ashburton who is 58 years of age. Mr. Kingsbury made his flrst solo flight recently after 10£ hours of 'dual instruction. Workers at the Pukaki and Tekapo hydro-electric works resolved by overwhelming majorities at mass meetings at the weekend, to contribute from their weekly wages to the support of the workers involved in the Mangakino dispute.
