Pespit& the Security Council 's decision to convene a special United Nhtions Assembly to reconsider the whote, Palestine problem, the Palestine Commission decided 'yesterday to proceed with partition ptans. The decision was made on a four to one vote \y ith C/.echoslovakia, Bolivia, Philippines and Panama in favour and Denmark against. j The majority opinion was that ttie Commission had received instruetions from the Assembly and only the Assem\)lv could reverse them. The Danish delegate felt ttiat the decision to proceed With partition would add tire to intlamed passions at a time when all e (Torts should be concentrated on paeifying the parties in Palestine. ' A kev delegate at Lake Success todav expressed doubt that the United Nations Assembly would reverse its decision to partition Palestine. Ile said it would be extremely difHcult to inarshal a two-thirds miijority of 07 nations to overthrow the 29 to 11 resolution.
