Call For Truce In Palestine
Received Fridav, 7.30 p.m. NEW YORK, April 1. Tlie Sccurity Gouncil has decided to call a special Palestine session of Fnited Nations' General Assernbly 011 Ajnil lfi. The vote was 9 to 0 with Russia aiuf the Fkraine abstaining. The Gouncil Flso decided to call for a dewish-Arab truce in Palestine. The Jewisli Agency representative deelared 1k> could not agree to a truce unless United Nations continued efi'orts foi the partition of Palestine. The Arabs reserved decisio.n on the truce but agreed to send a /epresentative to disisa terms.
