Finland Fears Communist Threats
Received Thursday, 7.35 p.m. LONDON, April 1. A special Finnisli diplonxatic courier left by air ou March 31 for Moscow with fresh instructions , for the Finnish delegation there, which are believed to amount to ,a broad acceptance of the Russian prbposals for a defence pact, says The Tiines' Helsinki correspondent who s'ays that Parliament was not consulted about . the new ihstructions. He adds that * the Finnish authorities are now taking a more seriotts view of Communist threats to seize power With methods similaf to those used in Czechbslovakia.- Sentries of the Helsinki garrison, including those posted outside the President's Palace, are, for the first time, carrying tommy guns .instead of rifles. The guards- a all army ammunition dumps havej been strengthened. " .
