WELLINGTON,. March. 3.1. Thfi public cannot be admitted ' to a Juvenile Cohrt but as it is a Court of ppmary jurisdiction, -it is important tliat they should be represented there, said Mr. Basil Henriques vv;ho has a long experience of the Bench of the Juvenile Court in England, in an address in Wellington 011 the wwk-of the Court. The, Press was admitted in England, he said. "It should be there and be allowed to report whatever it chose provided the eases were not de-' sOribed so as to be identifiable and the names of the children werfe sot pnblished. - . "The presence of the Press is a proteetion against the Court becoming a "star chamber which it never is or a sloppy soeial workers ' tea party which it of ten is, " he said.
