Keen Market For Fruit And Vegetables

Messrs. Townsen'd and Paul, Ltd., fruit and produce merchants; Wellington, report that during the past week, there has been a keen demand for most lines of fruit and vegetables. In the fruit section late plums are meeting with very keen demand and ceiling price 1s being readily obtained, while peaches are selling'freely up to 9s per case.
