LEVIN LADIES HOLD MIXED TOURNAMENT
p On Easter Saturday the Levin Ladies'. Bowling Club held d mixed tournament with visitors from Shannon and Otaki Ladies' Clubs and also Levin and Levin Central Clubs. A rink consisting of Ward, Mrs. Mathie, Lett and Mrs. Hartstonge (s) won all three games and •the honours. The Lett BrooeheS competition for the week Was wo-n by Mes'dames Shell and C. Walker "(s), :while last Thursday's matches went to Mesdames McKinstry and Gibson (s) . Five members of ihe club vis-ited the Vogelmorn Ladies' Club, Wel-lingtonffast-Weeky-'"- - : On Wednesday last two rinks from the Shannon Ladies' Club visited the Levin club. For first year players, the visitors performed well against the more experienced local players. Results- with Levin rinks menfioned first were: Mesdames Lett, Nichols, Hartstonge. Stevens (s) (27, beat Mesdames Clough, Wilson, Fitzgerald, Aitchison (s) 16; Mesdames Renkin, H. Walker, G. Walker, Gardner (s) '24 beat Mesdames Cronquest, Peni-, Tricker, Grahafii (s) 11.
