Miss Keller, who lost hef sfght, speech and hearing at the age of 19 months, has astounded the world for several deca'des by her triumph over those disabilities. and has become an inspiration to the afflicted of many countries. She is now. 67, and is ranked as onb of the 12 .outstanding Amerixans of the century. «• Miss Keller "hears" by placing her fingers on the „ throat of the speaker and a finger on the Iips.
