Carpenters Abandon Their Go-Slow Policy
;WELLINGTO'N, March 24. Mr. F. L. Langley, president of the New Zealand Carpenters' and Joiners' Union announced to-day after a meeting of the national council of the union that normal work would be resiuned by the carpenters in order to -facilitate the settleme- ' of the dispute which gave rise to the go-slov/ poiicy in January, Mr. Langley said: "The national council has agreed to a fecommendation of the Federation of Labour to effect a settlement of the carpenters' issues in the dispute and also agreed to a recommendation to fesume normal work to facilitate such a settlement."
