No Vote In Czech Elections For Collaborators
Received Tuesday, 10 a.m. PRAGUE, March 22. . M. Vaglav Nosek, Minister of the Interior, told the district Communist Party conference in Bohemia today that an order for the general election, which is due early in the summer, was being prepared for Parliament. The election would be free and democraMc, but 110 collaborators would be permitted to vote and "all those who, after the revolution, offended against- the interests of the Republic and people 's democracy will be prevented from voting, in which respect the role of the action committees is especially important." The eommuni§t Premier., M. Gottwal'd told the Associated Press correspondent that he could foresee little opposition to the Governmtnt's programme. "The elections will be held • in accordance with the terms of the law, and will confirm the victory of the people and the defeat of tha reactionaries," said the Premier.
