'F&rsoiidi ' • Miss Jean Taylor leaves this week on' a holiday visit to New Plymouth. / ' Mr. Len Moss, who has been visiting vairious parts of the South Island, has ret^med: to Otaki. Mr, and Mrs^ Bert Baddilly,- with the Misses Baddilly, of Carterton, were among the visitors to Otaki at the weekend. The Rev. Father Venning, who has been on a visit to the' Wairarapa, returned to Otaki on Saturday. . . Mr. W. Cootes is still seriously ill in the Palmerston North Hospital, and his condition is causing anxiety to his relatives and friends. A hurried trip by Misses Betty Edwards and Valerie Williams to Nelson and back proved most enjoyable. These young ladies returned to Otaki on Friday afternoon. Mrs. T. W. Synnott, who has been invhospital in Wellington for some time, returned home at the weekend, benfited by the treatment receiyed. Mr. Synnott, who has been spending a holiday in the Wairarapa, has also r#turned to Otaki.
