It was asxe'd at Wednesday night's mee'ting of sports body representatives and members of the Otaki Borough Council what was • being done in regar d to the memorial hall, a projeet which had not been hearfi of for some time. The Mayor, Mr. C. F. Atmore a=sured the meeting that the matter had not been lost sight of, but on' account of the epidemic it had been left in abeyance. Popdlar Nurse Leaving The Mayor Mr. C. f. Atmore, at the meeting held in the Oouncil Chambers on Wednesday night, stated that Otaki was shortiy to -lose the services of Nurse Cooper, who had fait-hfully carrie'd out her duties in Otaki and district for seme considerable time. He censidered that recognition of her services should be made, and this was unanimously agreed to'. Others spoke nf the good work done by. Nurse Cecper, who v/ould be a loss to both Eurooejms and Natives. It was agreed that a public meeting be called. - *
