A motion expressing concern at Miss H. E. Bowen's present serious illness, and the hope that she will .soon regain her health, was recorded 'by the Levin branch of the National Party at its annual meeting last night. The Crown Prosecutor at Palmerston North, Mr, H. R: Cooper, died last n-ight. He was senior member of one of the oldest legal firms in the -city. His suecessor is Mr. G. T. McGregor..
